Frequently Asked Questions

Wedding FAQ’s

How far in advance should we book you?

I recommend booking as soon as you’ve locked in your date, ideally 6–12+ months in advance. The earlier the better, as popular dates fill up quickly, especially during peak wedding season!

What’s your photography style?

My style is a mix of candid, documentary style moments and beautifully posed portraits. I aim to capture the genuine emotion, joy, and tiny details that make your wedding unique.

How many photos will we receive?

It varies based on your package, but most full-day weddings receive 250+ fully edited colour and B&W images. Quality is always my top priority. I won’t overwhelm you with duplicates or near identical shots.

When will we get our photos?

Your final gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks via a private online gallery.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I am very open to doing destination weddings and am happy to travel. Travel fees may apply depending on the location, and I’ll include all details up front, so no surprises.

Are you insured?

Yes, I carry full professional public liability insurance for £5,000,000.00, and I’m happy to provide proof if your venue requires it.

Can we request specific shots or a shot list?

Definitely. I want your gallery to reflect your vision. We’ll go over key people, must have moments, and any specific ideas you have in mind during your pre-wedding consultation and in the pre-questionnaire before the big day.

Family Photoshoot FAQ’s

What should we wear for our outdoor session?

Choose outfits that feel comfortable and reflect your family’s style. Soft, neutral tones or earthy colours work great outdoors. Try to coordinate rather than match, and avoid logos or busy patterns!!. I’m happy to help with outfit suggestions if you’re unsure. I will send you a what to wear guide alongside questionnaire before the photoshoot. Feel free to check out my Pinterest page for ideas.

What happens if the weather is bad?

No worries, mother nature can be unpredictable! If the forecast is looking rough (heavy rain or really strong wind), we’ll reschedule your session at no extra cost. I always keep backup dates available just in case. I will be checking the weather right up to a least 24hrs before and will communicate with you about the plan for your photoshoot.

How many photos will we receive?

It varies, however normally you will receive about 50+ fully edited colour and B&W images in your viewing gallery, which you decide then which ones and how many images you want to keep. Quality is always my top priority—I won’t overwhelm you with duplicates or near-identical shots.

How long does a session last?

Outdoor family sessions usually last about 30 minutes. That’s the sweet spot for keeping things fun and relaxed, especially for little ones!

Where will the photoshoot take place?

I have a few favourite outdoor locations with beautiful backdrops fields, forests, parks, and more. If you have a spot that’s special to your family, I’d love to hear about it too!

What if my kids don’t want to cooperate?

That’s totally normal! I’m used to working with all kinds of personalities and will gently guide the session in a fun, playful way. Some of the best photos come from in between moments when everyone’s just being themselves.

Can we include our pets?

Yes please! Pets are family too. Just make sure to bring a leash just in case and maybe a few treats, and I’ll capture some adorable moments with your furry friend.

Can I bring props?

Defiantly, yes!! Please do bring your child's favourite teddy, toys, books, and instruments. Balloons, bubbles, wicker baskets, and confetti are also great props to bring along if you wish too. We will try to incorporate any props where possible in the photos.
